By signing up for this event, you agree to abide by the following guidelines. Failure to conform to these standards may result in your immediate removal from the event without a refund and/or being banned from future events. 

If the responses you provide indicate that you would not be appropriate for this event we will refund your money.
 

1. Respect and Consent

• Be Respectful: Treat all attendees and event staff with courtesy, kindness, and respect, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or any other characteristic.
• Zero Tolerance for Harassment: We have a strict zero-tolerance policy for harassment of any kind. This includes, but is not limited to, offensive verbal comments, stalking, intimidation, unwelcome physical attention, and inappropriate touching. If you feel you are being harassed or see someone else being harassed, please immediately inform a member of the MSJC Events or Singles Committees.
• Prioritize Consent: Always ask for and respect the verbal consent of another attendee. Do not engage in any physical contact (e.g., hugging, touching their arm) of the opposite gender or take their photograph. Always ask and wait to receive verbal permission before engaging in any physical contact with someone of the same gender. A ‘no’ is final and must be respected without question.

2. Appropriate Conduct

• Maintain Professionalism: While this is a social event, attendees are expected to maintain appropriate behavior and demeanor. Avoid excessive intoxication, loud or aggressive behavior, and any disruptive conduct.
• Keep Conversations Appropriate: While flirting and getting to know one another is encouraged, refrain from making explicit, overly suggestive, or highly personal remarks to someone you have just met. If a topic makes another attendee uncomfortable, change the subject immediately.
• Privacy and Confidentiality: Do not share or post personal information, photographs, or contact details of other attendees without their express permission.

3. Safety and Security

• Personal Responsibility: You are responsible for your own safety and belongings. Do not leave drinks unattended.
• Report Concerns: If you observe any behavior that makes you or others feel unsafe, uncomfortable, or violates these guidelines, please report it immediately and confidentially to a member of either the MSJC Events or Singles Committees.
