Stand-up with The Honest Rabbi

Tuesday, January 15, 2019 9 Shevat 5779

8:00 PM - 9:30 PM
Mount Sinai Jewish Center Presents Israel's Finest Comedy:
David Kilimnick
'The Honest Rabbi Preaches Funny'
Stand-up with The Honest Rabbi

David Kilimnick puts on his rabbi hat and talks about what the Jewish communities need to make shul more fun. Rabbi David will not allow for anymore off tune singing in our community.

In his hilarious show of love for the Jewish people and decent gifts, Rabbi David also deals with the real issues of our people and rabbis have to use easier words to understand than 'firmament,' so we can understand their sermons. Incorporating routines from his show 'Frum From Birth,' Rabbi David will also approach kosher life, violent candy throwing at Bar Mitzvahs, Israel, Birthright, dinners with singles where he gets invited to bring the food, and even the building fund that is still going on at your congregation.
The show that talks about what it means to be a Jew and a good religious person who deserves heaven. Universal in nature, you don't have to be Jewish to appreciate Rabbi David's sermon of humor... anybody who has a community they love, and a heart will be laughing.

About David Kilimnick 'The Honest Rabbi': Israel's 'Father of Anglo Comedy' (JPost) and the first Israeli to make it to the finals of the ‘Funniest Person in the World’ competition, brings you back to the foundations of Israeli Anglo humor. As seen on Bip Comedy House, Tzchok MeAvoda and other Hebrew shows you don't understand, David brings the rabbinical mind to the stage as he expresses his irreverence for what is wrong.
