As The Story Goes Book Talk
Wednesday, December 3rd, 8:00 am

Join us for a book talk on the new book, As the Story Goes: Funny, Strange, and Serious Stories of Yiddishland's Jews, compiled by Mordekhai Lipson, newly translated and edited by Dr. Jonathan Boyarin and Jonah Sampson Boyarin.

The evening will feature the father-and-son translators in conversation about the art preserving Yiddish humor, memory, and voice for a new generation. Together, they'll explore how these vivid tales capture the spirit of a vanished world and the lives that continue to echo from it. Light refreshments will be served.

Community Chanukah Concert with Simply Tsfat
Motzei Shabbat, December 20th,
Doors open at 7:30 pm, Concert starts at 8:00 pm

Celebrate the seventh night of Chanukah with Mount Sinai, The Beis Community, The 

Grandmas Pizza will be selling dairy finger food, pizza, and pareve latkes and sufgoniyot. 

In addition to the spirited music and Chanukah cheer we will be collecting canned goods for the JCC. Everyone who participates will get a raffle ticket for each can they bring. At the end of the night we will raffle off $15 gifts cards for Golan Heights, Sushi Heights, and Grandmas Pizza!

Women's Zumba with Shani
Sunday and Tuesday nights in the gym and over zoom

Join us in person/on Zoom  (Sundays-Hybrid) or on Zoom only (Tuesdays) for Zumba!

Classes are $10 each, or $40 if you buy a 5-class pass, and can be paid to Shani directly. Passes do not expire and can be used as desired.

Not your Bubbie’s Mah Jongg! Mah Jongg is a compelling and fascinating game combining complex rules, strategic thinking, and a degree of luck. Best of all, it’s a group game giving everybody a chance to gather with friends and to meet new people. Our group is open to all, non-competitive, and beginner friendly. 

Players of all levels are welcome and free lessons are available.
