Shaimot Sorting
Sunday, November 2nd , 9:30 am-2:00 pm

We need your help! Join us at Mount Sinai Jewish Center for a crucial community effort to respectfully organize and care for our synagogue's old Sefarim. We are looking for dedicated volunteers to help sort through our collections and to distinguish good-condition Sefarim from those that require Shaimot (proper ritual burial).

Rabbi Yaakov Taubes will personally oversee all halachic (Jewish legal) decisions, ensuring every text is handled with the utmost respect.

As a thank you for your service, all morning volunteers will receive first-dibs access to make a purchase before the Sefarim Sale taking place that afternoon! If you are interested in volunteering please email house@mtsinaishul.com.
